Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aid to join our team at Premier Estates of Pawnee. As a Dietary Aid, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Assist in food preparation and serving, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and sanitary at all times, adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Director of Dietary Services and Cook to prepare and serve meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning worktables and equipment, and washing utensils.
• Assist with setting up meal trays, food carts, and dining rooms, as well as delivering food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures, ensuring that utensils and equipment are readily available for the next meal.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, as well as maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other duties as required.
