We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population, utilizing your expertise in emergency medicine to make a positive impact on our community.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, utilizing your knowledge of adult and pediatric care, equipment, supplies, and practices.
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, local, and accreditation laws, regulations, and standards, ensuring compliance and quality care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Develop and implement care plans, solving problems and making effective decisions under stress and emergency circumstances.
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and three (3) years of experience in emergency medical care.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine and State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) and other relevant certifications.
