KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Performance:
- Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in selecting merchandise or locating items based on customer preferences.
- Keeps abreast of current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual presentation standards.
- Ensures adherence to merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as assigned by Management.
- Engages in visual merchandising activities, including monthly store setups and maintenance of designated areas.
Customer Engagement:
- Exemplifies and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, providing a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Addresses customer inquiries and resolves concerns promptly.
- Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, staying informed on policies related to payments, promotions, returns, and security practices.
- Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
- Enrolls clients in the rewards program.
- Cultivates and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
- Remains knowledgeable about current product fits and style offerings both in-store and online.
- Maintains regular communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.
Operational Excellence:
- Assists in restocking activities to ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting.
- Aids in fulfilling customer orders.
- Supports visual merchandising directives, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage as directed.
- Contributes to the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.
Team Collaboration and Development:
- Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving within the team.
- Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Must maintain regular attendance to ensure adequate staffing for company objectives.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Regular climbing activities.
The wage range for this position is $15.70 to $19.75, with compensation determined by individual qualifications. Associates may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on various performance metrics.
