Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting the menu, suggesting cocktails and appetizers, and addressing dietary restrictions and special requests.
  • Communicate orders to the kitchen and bar by accurately recording guests' selections and noting any special dietary needs.
  • Keep kitchen staff updated on meal timing to ensure smooth service.
  • Deliver orders by retrieving and serving food and beverages from the kitchen and bar, including any requested accompaniments.
  • Respond to guest needs by observing their dining experience and inquiring about additional requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized table setting by clearing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and ensuring water glasses are filled.
  • Process payments by calculating charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change or receipts to guests.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations to protect both the establishment and its patrons.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Some High School education or equivalent experience.
  • Basic math skills applicable to cash handling.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a serving role.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:
