Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team at The Learning Experience of Middletown NY. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of our TLE curriculum, promoting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Assist with observation and assessment of each child's progress, and communicate with parents regularly.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate degree in ECE preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a warm and nurturing classroom environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
