Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Acousti Engineering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure a thorough understanding of project deliverables.
  • Identify, quantify, record, and report all changes (change orders) for the project.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget completion of assigned projects, meeting all safety requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor project schedules and provide daily updates on progress versus schedule.
  • Communicate regularly with field employees and project management staff regarding project progress and general issues.
  • Manage labor pools assigned to the project at or under budget.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and tracking of work details and quality.
  • Offer ongoing training to crew members as required to complete assigned tasks.
  • Submit accurate field reports by established deadlines.
  • Work with operations to deploy field labor and plan material delivery.
  • Request project materials on an as-needed basis.
  • Monitor equipment use at job sites and inform operations when equipment is no longer needed.
  • Manage material quantities at the job site to minimize disruptions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for owners and subcontractors.
  • Ensure safe implementation of all project activities and adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Implement and manage job-site safety programs and conduct weekly toolbox talks.
  • Complete site accident reports immediately, completely, and accurately.
  • Address and manage punch list items and quality issues to expedite retainage collection.
  • Maintain friendly, cooperative relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and owners.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • 5+ years of prior experience in commercial drywall contracting project supervision.
  • 3-5 years of construction field experience.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and do what is necessary.
  • Honesty, integrity, and a strong desire to be successful.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
