Qualifications:
  • Current ARRT RT(R) credential is mandatory.
  • Unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • ARRT Post Primary Certification in Mammography must be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification is essential.
  • Preferred: Completion of at least 200 documented mammograms in the previous calendar year.
  • Experience in a hospital environment is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

Adaptability and Flexibility: Understanding of age-related differences in patient care and communication. Ability to respond effectively to urgent situations and adapt to provide the best care.

Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and verbal communication, capable of explaining complex issues and facilitating information exchange among team members.

Customer Service Orientation: Familiarity with customer service principles, including needs assessment and quality standards.

Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to promote secure operations.

Time Management: Capable of maintaining composure in high-pressure situations while organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
