Job Title: Supervisor - Cage Cashier TrainingJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor - Cage Cashier Training to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a key member of our Cash Operations department, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing training programs for our cage cashiers. Your expertise will help ensure that our team members have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for cage cashiers, including new hire orientation, certification, and ongoing training and development.
  • Assess training needs and submit performance objectives to management for approval.
  • Develop training materials, including manuals, job aids, and program content, in accordance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions, including new hire department orientation, certification, and periodic training on topics such as Title 31, Credit Card Fraud, Emergency Evacuation, Robbery Prevention, Chip Redemption, and Counterfeit Chip Identification.
  • Recommend changes to departmental procedures to better achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Track, measure, and monitor the completion and effectiveness of training programs, using metrics such as surveys, questionnaires, roundtables, and forums.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying management of concerns and observations.
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, as well as a minimum of 1 year of cash operations supervisory experience.
  • Must be proficient in department-specific computer programs, including CMP, New Wave Checks, SDG, and QCP, or similar casino cash management systems.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of MS Office software, mainly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Applicant must be familiar with a variety of Cash Operations and Class III gaming concepts, practices, and procedures.
Work Environment:

This role requires regular standing, walking, and high-mobility for a majority of the shift. You will also regularly speak and listen to internal and external customer directions or orders in an atmosphere of varying background noise. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception. You will often transit between brightly lit and dimly lit areas, including flashing lights and computer or TV screens.

This role requires bending, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds, as well as using, pushing, and pulling wheeled hand-carts or other equipment weighing in excess of 100 lbs. You will regularly bend, stoop, kneel, and twist at the waist. May occasionally be exposed to bodily fluids, pet or service animals, and strong odors. Will regularly be exposed to tobacco and other second-hand smoke. May occasionally use de-escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict. Will be required to assist in customer evacuation in case of emergency.

Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming's employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to, credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screens.
