Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role entails:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Operating equipment safely, including forklifts and order pickers, and working at heights of approximately 25 feet.
  • Implementing the ABC item category process for sample inventory rotation.
  • Receiving and organizing incoming shipments.
  • Managing overstock inventory rotation.
  • Preparing inventory for new product launches.
  • Updating and monitoring SKU location labels.
  • Overseeing the returns and recycling process.
  • Removing outdated samples from inventory.
  • Finalizing completed sewing orders.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer service outcomes.
  • Providing prompt feedback regarding service disruptions or customer issues.
  • Meeting or exceeding established team standards, demonstrating commitment and accountability for results.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in inventory management.
  • Experience in textiles and wallcoverings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory and warehouse management systems, with a preference for RF picking or voice picking.
  • Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, fractions).
  • Ability to distinguish colors and patterns (not color blind).
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to maneuver rolling carts and pallet jacks.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Proficient computer skills, ideally in an AS400 or Infor environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • OSHA Forklift Certification (including sit-down forklifts and order pickers), with the ability to operate at heights of approximately 25 feet.
  • Exceptional follow-up skills.
