Job Overview

POSITION TITLE: Production Operator

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing

SUPERVISOR: Production Supervisors

COMPENSATION: Full Time – Non-Exempt ($18-20/hour)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere strictly to manufacturing protocols, including Safety, GMP, and SQF standards.
  • Follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn all facets of equipment operation, including troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting weights up to 55lbs.

  • Quality Assurance Manager and Technicians
  • Maintenance Manager
  • Director of Operations
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Flexible availability, including the potential for night and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 years of experience in food or FMCG manufacturing is preferred.
  • Prior experience operating manufacturing machinery.
  • Knowledge of food handling and manufacturing processes is advantageous.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hobart equipment is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • In-person setting.
