Linn County is seeking a skilled Childcare Worker Substitute to join our team. As a temporary childcare assistant, you will provide exceptional care and supervision to children aged 2-5 in our Child Development Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to the needs of children in classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide supervision on the playground, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Move between classrooms as needed to maintain adult-child ratios.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meal service, toileting, and naptime supervision.
  • Participate in in-service training and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of six months experience in a licensed child care program.
  • Ability to interact positively and calmly with young children.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move fifty pounds on a regular basis.
