Nurse Care Specialist

About the RoleAs a Staff Registered Nurse at Mountain View Hospital, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of individualized patient plans.
You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimize patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient plans, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nonprofessional staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and educational programs, ensuring alignment with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Alabama.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical demands associated with nursing practice.
Mountain View Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
