About the Role

As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our 346-bed full-service acute care facility offers a family-friendly work environment that is perfect for new graduates looking to start their career or experienced nurses seeking a change.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of current acute care experience and will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. They will also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Assist physicians during exams and procedures, ensuring smooth operations
  • Conduct various patient tests and administer medications as needed
  • Promote patient independence by teaching self-care skills and empowering them to manage their conditions effectively
Benefits
