Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL B Local Waste Disposal Driver to join our team at Kimble Recycling & Disposal, Inc. in Dover, OH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty waste disposal vehicles and collecting waste and recyclable materials.

Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, local, state, and federal laws, and Kimble policies.
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of vehicles and document/report any mechanical or safety issues.
  • Notify supervisors of accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Maintain and update route sheets and driver logs.
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid CDL B license (or A).
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check.

Work Environment

Our drivers operate in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction and environmental responsibility. We offer a Monday through Friday schedule with home time every night, and weekends as needed.

Equipment

We operate late model Battle trucks, residential front loader and rear loader, commercial front loader, and automatic transmission vehicles. 80% of our fleet is on compressed natural gas.
