Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tester to join our team at Novalink Solutions LLC. As a Senior Tester, you will be responsible for planning, constructing, and executing product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, and network tests.

You will work closely with the team to ensure the quality of our products and services. Your expertise in testing and quality assurance will be essential in identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring that our products meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain testing standards for the Application Development department
  • Create test models for product testing and release control
  • Execute assembly or product tests
  • Determine time estimates and schedule for work efforts
  • Communicate accurate status updates
  • Create quality standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Complete assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills; both written and spoken
  • Create product test plans and criteria for acceptance for all testers
  • Resolve testing process questions/issues
  • Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments
  • Assist Team Lead in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks
  • Work to enhance testing skills and build technical and business knowledge within the testing team
  • Create, update, and test release installation procedures
  • Generally aware of new developments in industry and processes and ability to apply to work as appropriate
  • Define and utilize entry/exit criteria for testing
  • Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Create training plan for all new testing resource hired
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in analyzing data elements of enterprise applications
  • 7+ years of experience in the analysis of business requirements, functional and non-functional
  • 5+ years of experience in using Microsoft products: SQL, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • College degree
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile projects
  • 3+ years of experience using versioning tools: GIT, any versioning tool
  • Experience utilizing Agile tool sets including GIT and Azure
  • Excellent organization skills, proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Knowledge of formal requirements, gathering methodologies
