Position Title: Educational Psychologist
Location: Jackson, LA
Overview: Soliant is in search of a skilled and empathetic Educational Psychologist to become a vital part of our team in Jackson, LA. The successful candidate will engage with students, families, and educational staff to foster both the emotional well-being and academic achievement of students. This position encompasses conducting psychological evaluations, providing counseling services, and implementing intervention strategies to promote student success.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Specialist-level degree in Educational Psychology or a related discipline.
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure as an Educational Psychologist in Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Design and execute individual and group counseling initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and school administrators to meet student needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Contribute to the formulation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
- Engage in school meetings and committees focused on student welfare.
Preferred Certifications:
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) is desirable.
- Louisiana State School Psychologist License.
