Position Overview: The Career Development Coach will play a vital role in the operations of the Career Development Center, focusing on retention strategies and engaging with prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers. The coach will provide guidance on academic major exploration, career development, job search techniques, and related career information.

Qualifications Required:
  • Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in the field.
  • Ability to perform significant tasks with minimal supervision and considerable independent judgment.
  • A bachelor's degree coupled with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange meetings with students and alumni to deliver comprehensive career coaching aimed at defining career options, enhancing job search skills, and formulating actionable plans.
  • Utilize appropriate career assessment tools tailored to individual student needs, providing interpretation and developing actionable career strategies.
  • Design and conduct various career-related presentations and workshops.
  • Assist students in crafting personalized resumes and provide constructive feedback as needed.
  • Organize and guide students through mock interview sessions.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses to connect students with potential job opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to create enriching experiences for students.
  • Provide insights to students regarding current job market trends relevant to their career choices.
  • Research emerging career field trends and develop innovative initiatives.

Additional Information: Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs, with the possibility of changes in scheduling, shift assignments, and work locations.
