Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a strong back-of-house staff and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who is passionate about food production and working with high-quality ingredients in a scratch kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist General Manager and upper management in driving the business to meet and exceed budgeted sales and operational costs
  • Maintain pre-established policies and procedures and suggest improvements where necessary
  • Create efficiencies in food production, manage payroll, and creatively staff
  • Recruit, hire, train, cross-train, and retain an exceptional staff
  • Manage purchasing within food cost parameters, working with primary suppliers

Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years management experience in the day-to-day operations of a busy, high-volume restaurant
  • Ability to hire, onboard, train, and develop a talented and focused staff
  • Experience in the development of new recipes and reviewing and improving existing recipes
  • BBQ experience a plus, and familiarity with the latest food trends
  • Knowledge of making stocks, sauces, and butchery skills a plus
  • Creativity and passion for food production and working with high-quality ingredients in a scratch kitchen
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • A history of working with organizations that embrace management processes and principles
  • Effective interpersonal skills in communicating with staff, management, owners, suppliers, and customers
