Job Summary:
Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Services Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Surgical Services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 15 Surgery Suites, Endo/GI Rooms, and Hybrid Suites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily nursing schedules to ensure optimal patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Oversee nursing activities and provide guidance and support to nursing staff as needed.
- Participate in recruitment and selection of nursing staff to ensure the best possible fit for our team.
- Monitor and evaluate the professional development of nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with other Surgical Services clinical leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a perioperative setting, preferably in a leadership or coordinator role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
