School Psychologist Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred students to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student success.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, as needed, to support their emotional and social development.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school setting.
- Licensure: Current MAPsychology License.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, contract position with a standard work schedule of 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37 hours per week.
