About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our AWS Worldwide Financial Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving AWS adoption in the consumer and institutional payments space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud computing strategies for payments industry customers
  • Collaborate with sales teams to coach on AWS services relevant to payments customers
  • Work closely with internal teams to guide the direction of AWS services adoption for large and complex customers
  • Accelerate customer business outcomes by recommending best-practice cloud architectures
  • Drive technical solutions discussions with customers to solve complex technical challenges
  • Scope and own customer engagements with clear objectives and success criteria
  • Work backwards from customer business needs to accelerate adoption of AWS technology
  • Define and execute on the strategy by engaging technical teams
  • Act as a thought leader in the wider community by educating and sharing best practices
  • Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform
About the Team

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
