X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical procedures and terminology, with experience in X-Ray and familiarity with routine medical procedures. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deal with people in a tactful and professional manner.
This is a full-time position, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, 7a-5p. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for radiologic procedures
- Operating radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Ensuring radiologic equipment remains in working order and reporting equipment malfunctions to the Center Operations Director
- Following documentation procedures and completing required documentation related to patient x-ray visits
- Performing routine medical procedures as ordered by the treating clinician, including but not limited to, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiogram testing, and respirator fit testing
- Assisting providers during examination and treatment
- Applying bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the treating clinician
- Dispensing medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician in accordance with state regulations
- Completing quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices, as well as testing processes used in the center
- Maintaining supplies, cleaning rooms and equipment, and stocking exam rooms
- Maintaining and operating all medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures
- Notifying the supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or the facility is not operating as expected
- Participating in initial and ongoing training as required
- Obtaining all certifications required of Medical Support Specialists, including but not limited to, Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, Hair and Oral Fluids Collection
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and entry of data into various systems/applications
We offer a competitive salary range of $22.00 to $32.00 hourly, depending on job-related factors, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, prescription, telehealth, and dental plans, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and extended illness days.
