We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Manager to join our Non-Qualified team at Principal Financial Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients, financial professionals, and internal service teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with retirement plan service representatives and marketers to improve the relationship between customers and Principal.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with non-qualified clients, financial professionals, and internal service teams to ensure client retention, growth of the client service block, and profitability for all partners.
  • Embody non-qualified core values in all interactions.
  • Identify customer expectations and develop a strong working relationship.
  • Use creativity, problem-solving skills, and in-depth product knowledge to successfully arrive at solutions for retaining clients and resolving complex client issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience required (non-qualified retirement plan, qualified retirement plan, or financial services experience preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills required.
  • Able to build and maintain good relationships within the organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Demonstrates ability to build proven, positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Understands retirement concepts.
  • FINRA Series 6 license required within 9 months of employment.
