Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking skilled and diverse clinicians who align with our mission to enhance access to quality mental health care. We are particularly interested in a passionate and innovative play therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will hold a valid license in Illinois and possess 1-3 years of experience working with youth aged 0-18.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain ongoing documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients while collaborating with a diverse and dynamic team to address community needs.
- Employ creative interventions to support clients in achieving and surpassing their therapeutic goals.
- Prepare and submit detailed documentation for each session following company guidelines.
- For full-time clinicians, maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits per week.
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, and other professionals as necessary.
- Participate in all clinical staff meetings and training sessions.
- Engage in additional meaningful responsibilities as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution, with a focus on obtaining licensure.
- Current clinical licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, etc.) is mandatory.
- Experience in completing mental health assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
- Timely completion and submission of documentation and other required paperwork.
- Experience working with a diverse client population.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience is a plus).
- Fully licensed clinicians should ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
