Position Overview
The role of the Sales Merchandiser is essential in our Large Store segment, acting as both the primary contact for store management and the key representative for Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast. This hybrid position requires building strong customer relationships while driving sales and ensuring product availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and inform customers about our extensive beverage portfolio.
- Implement promotional displays and equipment placements to enhance visibility.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage company assets effectively.
- Ensure adherence to merchandising standards and assess product needs for each account.
- Collaborate with business partners to communicate account activities.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds and merchandising products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of general work experience is required, with relevant sales experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficient in computer applications and capable of managing inventory systems.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurance requirements.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull products using manual and powered equipment.
