Job Title: Vascular Sonographer - PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. as a PRN (as needed) employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound procedures, working closely with our medical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular ultrasound procedures, including Doppler and duplex imaging, to diagnose and treat vascular diseases.
  • Work closely with our medical team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with vascular conditions.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the examination process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest vascular ultrasound technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in vascular ultrasound, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
