In this role, you will be tasked with first-level troubleshooting and ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries. Collaboration with Support Analyst I personnel and student employees under the guidance of the Service Desk Manager will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental troubleshooting for software and hardware issues through various communication channels
  • Diagnose and rectify account-related problems for students, faculty, and staff
  • Facilitate support for service requests and incidents, including software setups and password management
  • Assist in managing call center operations as needed
  • Convert client requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Contribute to the knowledge repository and support the training of student staff
  • Keep abreast of technological developments pertinent to the role
  • Follow established protocols and foster a constructive workplace atmosphere

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support
  • Proficient in providing support via phone and in-person interactions
  • Bachelor's degree is required

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Robust technical and analytical capabilities
  • Proficient understanding of Mac OS, Windows OS, and Google Workspace
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification
  • ITIL v3 Foundations certification
