About the Role

At CHCP Healthcare and Educational Services LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Specialist to join our team. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the recruitment of students and ensuring their successful job placement within their respective fields.

About the Position

  • We estimate the salary for this role to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • This full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of experience in maintaining adult learner training certification, as well as experience in career and technical education.

Responsibilities

The Professional Development Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing effective strategies to attract, enroll, and support students in their academic journey, as well as facilitating their transition into the workforce. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified students.
  2. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with employers, industry professionals, and community partners to facilitate placement opportunities for students.
  3. Coordinating and supervising internship programs, career development workshops, and networking events to enhance students' job readiness and industry knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and recruitment skills, a passion for education, and a strong commitment to nurturing students' professional growth. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word) and data entry, with familiarity with enrollment management systems or student information systems being a plus.
