Open Role: Manager of Labor and Delivery/Mother Baby Unit

At Mercy, we believe in careers that match the unique gifts of unique individuals. We're looking for a skilled and experienced RN Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure the delivery of safe and quality care by competent staff members on the OB unit.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of available resources and meet productivity and financial goals.
  • Meet patient and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with other administrative personnel, physicians, and staff from other areas throughout the Health System.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current RN license.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of OB experience.
  • Certification/Registration: BLS.
  • Other Skills & Knowledge: Demonstrates skill in human relations and communication skills in both written and verbal. Demonstrates clinical expertise in patient care and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: BS or Master's prepared in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current RN license or temporary working permit.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of management experience in a hospital setting.
  • Certification/Registration: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS.
  • Other Skills & Knowledge: Experience and ability to public speak using PowerPoint presentations.
