Job SummaryWe are seeking a Counselor to join our team at our Shoreham West location. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor and Service Coordinator in delivering direct services to clients, as well as contributing to the overall running of the site.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care services to clients, including teaching skills and delivering concrete services.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor the site, coordinate, and participate in house activities, such as meal preparation, chore activities, and recreational activities.
- Provide rehabilitative support services in daily living skills, health services, and other areas as assigned.
- Monitor medication, perform medication counts, and prepare medication sheets.
- Assist with transportation of clients and perform unit inspections.
- Attend weekly supervision and staff meetings, and remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.
We require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role. Concern Housing offers a competitive salary of $19/hour, as well as an Agency Sponsored Retirement Plan and Employee Sponsored 403(b) Retirement Plan for part-time employees.
