Weekday Evening Counselor Job Description

Concern Housing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekday Evening Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing direct care services to clients, documenting their progress, and participating in site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care services to clients, including teaching skills and delivering concrete services.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor the site, coordinate, and participate in house activities, such as meal preparation, chore activities, and recreational activities.
  • Provide rehabilitative support services in daily living skills, health services, and other assigned areas.
  • Monitor medication, perform medication counts, and prepare medication sheets.
  • Assist with transportation of clients and perform unit inspections.
  • Attend weekly supervision and staff meetings, and remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.

Requirements:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role, is required for this position.
