Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical contracting, particularly in HVAC and refrigeration systems. This role will oversee multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

This is a hybrid position with time split between time in the office and time in the field making site visits. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Present project proposals, updates, and final reports to clients and stakeholders.">

  • Budget and Financial Management:">

    • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability while maintaining project quality.">
    • Negotiate change orders and manage financial aspects with suppliers and subcontractors.">

    • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies.">
    • Implement quality control measures and resolve any issues promptly to maintain project timelines.">

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in project management within the HVAC, refrigeration, or a similar mechanical contracting field.">
  • Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification is appreciated but not required.">
  • Skills:">
    • ">
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.">
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team management.">
    • Ability to utilize project management software (specifically ClickUp and Service Titan).">
    • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.">
    • Equipment start-up ability a huge plus.">
    • Basic knowledge of mechanical and energy codes.">
    • Ability to imbue trust in relationships with our clients and team members through regular communication.">
    • Teachability: a passion for learning more about the trade.">
    • Must be willing to teach or train.">
    • Must be able to work independently.">
    • Must be able to read blueprints.">
    • Understanding of electrical circuits and controls.">
    • Experience with g-suite preferred.">
    • Familiarity with geothermal systems a plus.">

      • This position may involve mid-week overnight travel on occasion.">
      • Must be able to pass a background check.">
      • Must pass a mechanical aptitude test.">
