Why This Position is Important: As an Electrical Field Service Scheduler at BHS Corrugated & Robotics, you will be pivotal in coordinating our field service activities. Your Main Responsibilities:

  1. Intelligent Scheduling: Align the appropriate Electrical FST with client requirements based on comprehensive details from various sources. Collaborate with the FS Coordinator Assistant to manage administrative duties such as quotes, purchase orders, timesheets, and service reports efficiently.
  2. Thorough Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive records for each field service request, ensuring all information is accurately documented and updated.
  3. Resource Management: Evaluate each service request to determine if additional assistance from Helpdesk or engineering is necessary. Ensure that technicians are equipped with all required tools, software, and equipment for effective job performance.
  4. Flexible Adaptability: Adjust to rapid changes in scheduling to keep technicians effectively deployed while considering their work-life balance.
  5. Analytical Insight: Review scheduling and workflow to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement strategies to boost efficiency and service quality.
  6. Client-Centric Support: Address daily client inquiries, including scheduling, emergency modifications, and rescheduling, ensuring that client needs are met promptly and professionally.
  7. Proactive Conflict Resolution: Swiftly manage scheduling conflicts and emergency cancellations. Modify schedules as necessary to accommodate client requirements and minimize disruptions.
  8. Clear Communication: Maintain consistent communication with the Electrical Field Service Supervisor to keep them updated on client escalations and technician-related issues.

  • Experience: A minimum of three years in Maintenance Scheduling/Planning or as a Field Service Dispatcher.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling software.
