Job Description

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Audiologist to provide high-quality hearing services to pediatric patients.

Job Summary

The Audiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing loss in children, working closely with families, speech pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct behavioral audiometry, auditory brainstem response, and otoacoustic emissions testing
  • Evaluate and select hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive listening devices
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on hearing loss and treatment options
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements

Clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology or PhD in Audiology

Pediatric experience preferred

CPR certification

State license for Audiology

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABA)
