Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide temporary coverage for a 12-week maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 38 students, utilizing expertise to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Conduct consultations for 33 students, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and communication skills, working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapy license, with previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
