Job Overview

Augusta Health is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Traveling Echocardiography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other related procedures in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other related procedures on patients in the ICU/ED settings.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiogram equipment, including GE and Philips systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of echocardiogram procedures and results.
Requirements
  • BLS certification and ARDMS RDCS or CCI RDS certification.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR system.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Work Environment
  • Monday – Friday schedule with occasional call shifts.
  • 50-mile radius required for travel.
  • Black scrubs required for work attire.
