Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Baylor College of Medicine's Section of General Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate will be a patient-centered and committed individual who excels in providing quality care.

About the Role

The Advanced Practitioner will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, working under the direction of a physician. Key responsibilities include obtaining detailed histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for prescribing treatments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Texas Board of Nursing
  • Current Texas Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN-NP) and specialty certification as required by department
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
