We are seeking motivated and reliable Degreed Classroom Behavioral Assistants to work with low and mid-functioning students (IDD/MH/Autism) in a school environment. The ideal candidate will provide support and care to students with intellectual, developmental disabilities, Autism, and/or mental health diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with IDD, Autism, and/or mental health diagnoses
  • Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Support students with behavioral challenges and develop strategies to promote positive behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive support plan
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience or knowledge of MH/IDD and/or Autism with adolescents or Special Education
  • Valid Physical/TB screening (within a year)
  • PA State Criminal Background, FBI (Dept. Edu), and Child Abuse Clearance
  • Valid Driver's License and personal and reliable transportation
