Catholic Charities is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve. We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Professional to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform daily housekeeping maintenance in all areas, adhering to established cleaning procedures.
- Service bathroom fixtures with proper germicidal cleaners and replenish necessary supplies.
- Maintain departmental equipment in good working order and report malfunctions to the director.
- Communicate effectively with employees, residents, and families in a helpful and well-mannered approach.
- Perform complete cleaning of vacant rooms to prepare for new admissions.
- Utilize necessary precautions and proper handling of chemicals, detergents, and solutions in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
- Demonstrate professional conduct consistent with the philosophy and mission of Catholic Charities.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 1 year housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to bend, stretch, push, and move furniture.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to lift minimum 35 pounds.
**Working Conditions:**
The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and ability to multitask. The schedule is PRN/on call.
