**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform daily housekeeping maintenance in all areas, adhering to established cleaning procedures.
  • Service bathroom fixtures with proper germicidal cleaners and replenish necessary supplies.
  • Maintain departmental equipment in good working order and report malfunctions to the director.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, residents, and families in a helpful and well-mannered approach.
  • Perform complete cleaning of vacant rooms to prepare for new admissions.
  • Utilize necessary precautions and proper handling of chemicals, detergents, and solutions in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct consistent with the philosophy and mission of Catholic Charities.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 1 year housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, push, and move furniture.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to lift minimum 35 pounds.

**Working Conditions:**

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and ability to multitask. The schedule is PRN/on call.
