Perioperative Clinical Coach Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coach to join our Perioperative Services team at LifeBridge Health. As a Clinical Coach, you will play a critical role in the orientation and development of new graduate nurses and nurses transitioning to a new specialty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily coaching and guidance to orientees, focusing on critical thinking and patient care.
  • Lead clinical discussions and use evidence-based practice to inform patient care decisions.
  • Coordinate orientees' schedules and ensure timely completion of orientation activities.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with orientees, preceptors, and educators to provide feedback and support.
  • Report on orientee progress to leadership and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of RN experience in hospital Perioperative nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a CCNE-accredited school.
  • Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license or Compact State licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • May have specialty certification, but not required.
