Job Title: Utility Teller

At Enterprise Bank & Trust, we're committed to helping businesses succeed and our communities thrive. As a Utility Teller, you'll play a vital role in providing prompt, efficient, and friendly services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process business and banking transactions, including cash handling responsibilities
  • Accept checks for cash and deposit, verify cash, endorsements, and issue receipts
  • Accept savings deposits, and withdrawals after verifying balance and signature
  • Redeem US Savings Bonds
  • Maintain proper cash levels in drawers and keep cash secure
  • Responsible for daily balancing of cash drawer
  • Handle bulk coin and bulk currency deposits
  • Issue cashier's checks and money orders
  • Assist in the handling of currency orders and shipments
  • Respond to clients' needs and inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner
Requirements:
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to cross-sell products and services
  • Able to adapt to different branch locations, working environments, co-workers, and branch leadership
  • Must maintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records
  • Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others
  • Good phone voice with professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to interview customers and understand requests
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computer workstations, typewriters, calculators, and copiers
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy
  • Knowledge of bank operations, products, and services offered at the bank
  • Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act
