Community Medical Centers of Fresno, CA is seeking a skilled Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the operations of the pre-analytical laboratory team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality care and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Oversee the operations of the pre-analytical laboratory team, including Team Leads, Phlebotomists, Laboratory Technicians, and Laboratory Assistants.
- Assume the leadership role for designated section and staff, and assign staff based on section needs, available staff, and skill levels.
- Responsible for training and mentoring staff and facilitates continuous quality care in collaboration with laboratory management.
- Supervise and evaluate staff, coordinates and administers policies and programs related to laboratory operations.
- Provides a variety of laboratory support functions and leadership support for laboratory tasks, except those restricted by California law.
- MINIMUM REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree.
- 4 years' experience as a Lab Assistant may be substituted in lieu of education.
- PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field.
- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- MINIMUM REQUIRED: State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) or Phlebotomy Technician II (CPT II).
