Location: Remote with occasional onsite requirements

Employment Type: Contract

Onsite Expectation: Candidates should be situated in the DFW area to collect equipment and participate in training sessions. The role will primarily be remote with some onsite presence necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and analyzes specifications needed to create new and modify existing software applications.
  • Maintains and supports PeopleSoft HCM and data by investigating and resolving issues.

  • Supports end users with HCM/HRIS reporting or functionality challenges.

  • Utilizes existing and emerging technologies and resources to enhance HRIS efficiency.
  • Assists managers in formulating and executing operational plans for new and existing business applications, including user specification preparation.
  • Coordinates testing of new applications and modifications to ensure data integrity and quality while providing training to system users.
  • Compiles comprehensive policies and operational procedures to effectively communicate Information Resources issues to relevant management personnel.
  • Contributes to the creation of new system administrative procedures necessitated by system enhancements.
  • Participates in developing and implementing business Information Resources strategies to boost operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for overseeing the development of specifications and setting priorities for the design and testing of various projects.
  • Reviews, develops, recommends, and executes activities related to assigned programs or functions.
  • Maintains and monitors accounts assigned to projects or programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in business systems and/or Information Technology projects, with exposure to systems or project development, testing, installation, and training, is required.
