Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient technical skills and a solid understanding of electrochemical principles, wet chemistry, electrical systems, membrane separation techniques, and water purification processes.
- Prior experience with laboratory methodologies and equipment for assessing water quality is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities and a collaborative spirit.
- Capability to work autonomously and juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Contribute to the design and development of electrodialysis systems tailored for water treatment solutions, including desalination, brackish water treatment, and wastewater management.
- Execute laboratory experiments and assessments to determine the efficacy of electrodialysis membranes, ion exchange materials, and other essential components.
- Work alongside engineering teams to enhance electrodialysis methodologies, focusing on flow dynamics, voltage applications, and membrane arrangements.
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to discern patterns, resolve challenges, and boost system performance.
- Support pilot-scale or field-scale evaluations of electrodialysis systems, including setup, operation, and oversight.
- Help in the preparation of technical documentation, presentations, and reports to convey research outcomes and project developments.
- Engage in various engineering tasks and provide support to the electrodialysis engineering team as required.
