Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine federal and multi-state tax returns, with a strong preference for experience in flow-through entities.
  • Investigate fundamental tax issues utilizing online research tools.
  • Assist with various accounting tasks as required during engagements and as directed by management.
  • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff.
  • Maintain effective communication with managers, partners, and clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to exceptional client service, unwavering integrity, and excellent project management and leadership skills. Our fast-paced environment requires a proactive approach and a sense of urgency.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's degree in Accounting is preferred.
  • CPA certification or eligibility to pursue CPA licensure.
  • Several years of experience in public accounting.
  • Experience in reviewing tax returns.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and spreadsheet software; familiarity with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is advantageous.
