Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Production Technician to join our team. This position offers a direct hire opportunity with a focus on assembling electrical and electronic components.

Work Schedule:
2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to midnight, with potential for overtime and weekend work as required.

Compensation:
Competitive pay rate based on experience and recent salary history.

Position Summary:
The Electrical Production Technician will be responsible for the assembly of electrical and electronic equipment, subassemblies, or components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts assembly processes for electrical and electronic components using hand tools and equipment, including soldering irons and wire-cutters.
  • Assembles electrical parts in accordance with specified sequences.
  • Confirms the accuracy of completed assemblies against established specifications.
  • Operates under direct supervision, performing repetitive tasks while adhering to written instructions and established protocols.
  • Addresses routine inquiries and issues, escalating complex problems to higher management as necessary.
  • Develops and applies both basic and advanced skills in relevant procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Follows established methods and procedures to ensure the successful assembly of electrical and electronic components.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Performs other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, along with the ability to interpret visual aids.
  • Proven ability to solder using appropriate techniques.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.
Language Proficiency:
  • Ability to read and interpret training materials, safety guidelines, and procedural documentation.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Competence in selecting appropriate mathematical methods or formulas to resolve issues.
Reasoning Skills:
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific situations to derive logical conclusions.
  • Capability to synthesize information to form general rules or conclusions.
  • Skill in identifying causes of operational errors and determining appropriate corrective actions.
Work Environment:
The characteristics of the work environment include:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes in work processes.
