We are committed to nurturing the next generation of scientists and clinicians. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and sterility of surgical instruments and patient care equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the decontamination process of instruments, rigid scopes, and equipment.
  • Inspect and prepare surgical instruments for cleaning and decontamination.
  • Adhere to infection control policies by following proper handwashing procedures and utilizing personal protective equipment during decontamination tasks.
  • Utilize the instrument management system for tracking, identification, and documentation of instruments during tray assembly.
  • Prioritize the assembly of trays and instruments to meet the needs of various supported areas.
  • Detail the distribution of trays and individual instruments accurately during the case cart assembly process.

Demonstrate knowledge of key sterilization techniques and ensure compliance with Hospital Infection Control policies. A working knowledge of high-level disinfection equipment is essential.


Work Schedule:

This position involves 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday rotations.
