Job Title: Cloud Technical Architect

At Dayton Freight, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Technical Architect to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our cloud infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, plan, and implement cloud solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
* Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using industry best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications in the cloud environment.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, assisting in their skill development and growth.
* Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and make recommendations for their adoption based on business needs.
* Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and cost savings within the cloud infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* In-depth knowledge of containerized .NET Core applications (preferred).
* In-depth knowledge of message brokers such as Apache Kafka.
* Hands-on experience with cloud services like Kubernetes, containerization, serverless computing, and databases.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
