As an Event Security Specialist with Erie Events, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, employees, and performers. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and control access points, verify credentials, and maintain a safe and secure environment throughout events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and screen patrons at admission to ensure prohibited items are not brought into the facility.
  • Monitor aisles and cross aisles to ensure only authorized personnel gain access to their respective sections.
  • Verify proper credentials before allowing entry and maintain designated positions until the event is over.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving complaints received from patrons and follow established ECCCA protocol for first aid emergencies, evacuations, and patron ejections.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations and provide an overall enjoyable, safe, and orderly event for patrons, employees, and artists.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Level-headed, conscientious, and enjoy working with people.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions.
  • Previous law enforcement experience is desired but not required.
