At Erie Events, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Security Officer to join our team. As an Event Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, employees, and performers during events at our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and screen patrons at admission to ensure prohibited items are not brought into the facility.
- Monitor aisles and cross aisles to ensure only authorized personnel gain access to their respective sections.
- Verify proper credentials before allowing entry to restricted areas.
- Protect and control areas related to the performance stage, dressing rooms, and backstage areas.
- Assure proper floor ingress/egress paths are maintained for safety and security.
- Clear and check facilities upon the conclusion of the event to ensure all areas are vacated in a timely manner.
- Assist in investigating and resolving complaints received from patrons.
- Follow established ECCCA protocol for first aid emergencies, evacuations, and patron ejections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Level-headed, conscientious, and enjoy working with people.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Previous law enforcement experience is desired but not required.
- Must be bondable and pass a security/reference check.
